Appliance Servicing and Repair – Restricted Electrical Licence Course

Appliance Servicing and Repair Technician who are required to undertake incidental electrical work within the scope of their trade for work with electrical appliances may be eligible to undertake this restricted electrical licence course and up-skill with Get Skilled Training.

This can be achieved by competing one of Get Skilled Training restricted electrical licencing training programs skillsets which are tailored to meet your trade requirements.

All courses require students to complete a mandatory occupational health and safety unit of competency UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace. Students may be eligible for Recognition of prior learning (RPL) for this unit.

The eligibility requirements for Appliance Servicing and Repair Technician to complete a restricted electrical course are below.

  • UEE32120 – Certificate III in Appliance Service, or
  • A letter from your employer outlining the need for an restricted electrical licence, and

    Workers who require a restricted electrical licence to undertake incidental electrical work within the scope of their work with specific electrical equipment may be eligible to undertake this restricted electrical licence course and up-skill with Get Skilled Training if they have 3 years of experience in servicing and repairing equipment.

    This can be achieved by competing one of Get Skilled Training restricted electrical licencing training programs skillsets which are tailored to meet your trade requirements.
